Driver Pipeline Company started in 1971, with a single truck, trailer and backhoe.

Today, Driver Pipeline Company owns a large fleet - in excess of 500 pieces - of heavy equipment, haul trucks and vehicles that can accommodate work on 2" through 48" pipelines, covering spreads of upwards of 200 miles in length.

Driver Pipeline's Equipment

In 1994, Driver Pipeline Company acquired the largest of its ten directional drill rigs and significantly increased its HDD capability. This rig is rated at 500,000 pounds of pullback force and is capable of performing drills in excess of 5,000 feet and is equipped to ream up to a 49" diameter hole. Driver Pipeline Company's equipment superintendent and his team of skilled mechanics maintain a preventive maintenance program and database that is used to keep all vehicles and equipment in excellent working order, to eliminate downtime on the project, enhance fuel economy and reduce emissions.
